It is possible to accurately measure the thickness of wet (undried) paint film on-site.
It is used for measuring wet film thickness. Compared to the comb shape, it allows for more precise film thickness management. However, this means that the area that gets destroyed is larger. The accuracy is ±2.5% + 1μm. Place the main body on the wet paint film and hold the wheel part with your hand, slowly rotating it to check the areas with and without paint. The largest number with paint on the central wheel indicates the wet film thickness.

Immediately after applying the paint, place the two outer rings in the coating so that they contact the substrate at the maximum gap (the maximum reading of the calibrated scale). Rotate the main body approximately 360° along the surface before removing it. Read the maximum film thickness at the position where the wet coating and the central ring are in contact (where paint is on the central ring).
