An oil seal for large diameters that excels in eccentricity resistance and impact resistance. It seals even with an eccentricity of up to 2.3 mm.
The "SAS type" oil seal, designed for eccentricity resistance, features a combination of a plate spring (SUS) and a coil spring, allowing the rubber surface to slide against the plate spring on the back side of the lip, resulting in excellent followability. Additionally, the use of a superior special rubber at the tip of the sealing lip significantly enhances performance and design compared to the SM type (new JIS).
