The "SAS type" oil seal, designed for eccentricity resistance, features a combination of a plate spring (SUS) and a coil spring, allowing the rubber surface to slide against the plate spring on the back side of the lip, resulting in excellent followability. Additionally, the use of a superior special rubber at the tip of the sealing lip significantly enhances performance and design compared to the SM type (new JIS).
