It can accommodate vacuum levels from 0.133 Pa to approximately 10 barG with various combinations of elastomers and cross-sectional shapes and profiles. Performance depends on the contact surfaces and installation conditions. Materials available include silicone, SBR, EPDM, FKM, and others, with silicone rubber capable of withstanding temperatures from -50°C to +250°C.
