This is an oil seal made of fluoropolymer and stainless steel without the use of rubber.
The FS seal is a revolutionary seal that incorporates a garter spring into a thin sheet of specially formulated PTFE (filled tetrafluoroethylene resin = Alflon) that has been processed through a drawing technique, providing flexibility and elasticity to the seal lip. As a result, it excels in its ability to follow shaft eccentricity compared to other PTFE oil seals. Additionally, it covers a wide range of areas that traditional rubber oil seals cannot meet, such as heat resistance, freeze resistance, chemical resistance, non-stick properties, and pressure resistance.
