The U500 series is a rectangular ultrasonic sensor with analog (current/voltage) output and digital (ON/OFF) output, redesigned in detail, including the detection surface material, output circuit, and setting method. The detection surface employs a newly developed material, significantly improving waterproofness and durability compared to conventional products. Regarding output, both analog (current/voltage) output types and digital (ON/OFF) output types have been released. The digital output features a "Push-Pull circuit," allowing for both PNP and NPN outputs. Depending on your application, you can choose either PNP or NPN. The setting method utilizes "qTeach," which allows for configuration by holding a driver over the recessed area on the back of the sensor body. Designed with attention to various details, the U500 series is an ultrasonic sensor that can demonstrate its performance and user-friendliness in many applications.
