Cells can proliferate in three dimensions, allowing for cell yields that exceed the surface area. **[Operational Logic of the TideCell System Realizing High-Density Cultivation]** The operation of the TideCell system is extremely simple. The container is filled with a matrix (carrier) that serves as a scaffold for the cells, and the culture medium is supplied from a culture bag into the container.
