In March 2012, we underwent a business reorganization, separating and becoming independent from the manufacturing division of Waken Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and started anew as Waken Biotech Co., Ltd. Based on a nationwide sales network and reliable technical expertise, we support research activities and businesses in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences.
Business Activities
We are a comprehensive bio trading company that offers various culture systems targeting animal cells, insect cells, fungi, and microorganisms, capable of providing proposals from small-scale to production-scale cultivation. We have an excellent lineup of products related to large-scale protein expression, protein crystallization, and structural analysis based on our culture systems. Additionally, we provide solutions for the automation of various experiments and research, as well as specimen management and library operation for compounds and biological samples. With our own design and development department, we possess extensive experience and know-how to accommodate various custom manufacturing requests and OEM supply from our customers.
