basic information
This is a coating carbide drill that balances performance and cost for mass-produced and prototype parts processing. It employs a newly developed UT micro-coating that exhibits high performance on low-height materials. The new drill design and X-shinning improve resistance to sudden breakage and reduce variation in the number of holes processed. To suppress burr height in through holes, the tip angle is set to 130°. With a groove length of 15 times the diameter, it is capable of processing deep holes with high precision.
Applications/Examples of results
Materials to be machined: alloy steel, aluminum alloy, general structural rolled steel, carbon steel, copper alloy, pre-hardened steel, hardened steel (hardness below 45 HRC).
