Color the flux residue after cleaning! Simple and inexpensive flux residue measurement.
ZESTRON Flux Test indicates the presence of carboxyl groups in flux activators through a color reaction. It allows for easy detection of invisible residues and serves as an important complementary test for ion contamination measurement. Additionally, it can visualize how contamination is distributed, leading to improvements in component reliability assessment. 【Features】 ■ Space-saving ■ No investment costs ■ Usable anywhere in the factory ■ Low cost per test *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
In the cleanliness evaluation after flux cleaning, such as with the Omega Meter method, we were able to detect dirt across the entire substrate, but we could not confirm where the dirt, centered around flux residues, is distributed. The ZESTRON Flux Test can visualize how contamination is distributed, ensuring improvements in component reliability assessment. However, residues based on halogenated surfactants cannot be detected by the ZESTRON Flux Test. *For the complete removal of flux residues, we offer free proposals for cleaning agents, equipment, and processes, as well as the implementation of cleaning tests. Please feel free to consult Zestron Japan.

Zestron is a global standard "flux cleaning agent manufacturer" based in Germany, with eight locations worldwide. Our cleaning agents are primarily environmentally friendly water-based cleaners that achieve a balance between cleaning performance and safety, while also enabling the reduction of organic solvents, VOCs, and overall usage to lower costs. At our technical center in Kanagawa, customers can choose from inline and batch-type spray cleaning equipment, as well as jet and ultrasonic devices, tailored to their needs, allowing them to test work cleaning under conditions equivalent to those in production environments. In parallel with the cleaning tests, we analyze cleanliness at our analysis center. Utilizing digital microscopes, FT-IR, ion chromatography, and SEM-EDX/EDS, we can detect flux residues that are often overlooked by visual inspection. After the tests are completed, our engineers will provide a technical report detailing recommended processes. *We generally offer support for cleaning process issues free of charge. If you have any requests or challenges related to flux cleaning, please feel free to contact us.
