Rilsan HT combines flexibility and moldability not found in conventional materials, attracting attention as an alternative to metal rubber components. The density of Rilsan HT is 1.10 (CMNO), which is about 10% lower than PA6T, and its saturation water absorption rate in an environment of 23°C and 50% humidity is approximately 1.8%, about one-third that of PA6T, making it suitable for lightweight components and as a solution to the issues of traditional aromatic PA products. Rilsan HT CESV P010 TL for extrusion is a flexible aromatic nylon (PPA) that achieves metal replacement in automotive piping applications. Application Development (1) High-Temperature Air Ducts: Turbo Vehicles Resin conversion of ducts from turbo to intercooler, weight reduction, improved productivity, cost reduction, etc. (2) Cooling Lines and Surrounding Components Resin conversion of metal and rubber parts, weight reduction, improved productivity, cost reduction, etc. (3) General Industrial Tubes: For High-Temperature Environments As a replacement for heat-resistant tubes such as ETFE.
