At Company A, a manufacturer related to automobiles, the iron scraps that fell to the side of the conveyor after being punched were causing issues with cleaning and safety on the press transport line. Issues: 1. The work area is located underground, requiring workers to repeatedly go up and down the stairs between the basement and the first floor. 2. Sharp scraps were being swept up with a broom, and workers were manually carrying buckets (approximately 30 kg). 3. This was causing lower back pain for the workers. 4. The oil mist from the press machine made the floor slippery, creating a hazardous environment.

Due to the complex and hazardous working environment, I proposed the production of a custom magnet that would allow for cleaning without having to go to the press machine. 1. Manufacture a custom magnet (sized to attract a suitable amount of iron scraps). 2. Install a chain block on the first floor that can safely and accurately transport the magnet. 3. Attach the magnet to the end of the chain block and operate it electrically. By using the above method, it became possible to operate the chain block electrically from the first floor, collect the iron scraps located underground by switching "ON," transport them to the first floor, and drop them at the designated location by switching "OFF."
