A customer engaged in machining has been instructed to implement safety covers for machining, grinding machines, milling machines, and stamping machines as part of their internal safety measures. Consequently, they considered measuring, drafting, manufacturing, and installing by a machine manufacturer, but it turned out to be prohibitively expensive compared to their budget application. Issues: 1. They want to install machine covers as a safety measure for the machine tools. 2. Requesting design and manufacturing from a machine manufacturer is not cost-effective. 3. There are budget constraints, and they must reduce the scope of safety measures if relying on manufacturer installation.

We received a consultation about whether it could be produced at a low cost, and after careful discussions with the customer regarding material selection and shape, we proposed a cost plan that fits within the budget. By handling everything from design to production and installation in-house, we were able to offer installation at one-third of the manufacturer's price. Points: Seven units will be installed: small 600×1500 and large 2000×2000×2000. 1. To achieve costs within the budget, we will reduce the thickness of the cover and increase reinforcement as a method of cost reduction. 2. The main body of the cover will be made from SS material. Polycarbonate sheets will be used for the door section, and expanded metal will be adopted for heat dissipation. The paint color can be specified at will from samples, allowing for a finish in the customer's desired image color. 3. Due to the narrow space in front of the cover, there are limitations on the door opening and closing space. By changing from double doors to accordion doors, we can ensure the specified effective opening. 4. To match the horizontal level of the equipment table, we will install adjusters to provide height adjustment functionality.
