The machinery manufacturer A was struggling with the installation of the safety cover for their centrifuge that separates water and mud, as the cover was heavy due to the steel material. They were also troubled by the soaring prices of steel. Since the centrifuge is used outdoors and exposed to UV rays and wind and rain, it needs to be resistant to rust and corrosion. They wanted a safety cover made of a lightweight material.
