Vibration-resistant seismic ceiling substrate OTO-LESS
OS sealing
A substrate material that balances vibration resistance and earthquake resistance!
This OS sealing "OTO-LESS" is a ceiling substrate material that achieves both vibration isolation and seismic performance, which was difficult with suspended ceilings. By simply fastening the braces for seismic reinforcement to the junctions of the ceiling substrate, it can demonstrate high seismic performance while preventing sound transmission. The natural frequency of the vibration isolation system is excellent, with single type at 10-13 Hz and double type at 7-9 Hz. 【Features of OS Sealing HG Type "OTO-LESS"】 ■ Ideal for preventing ceiling collapse in large spaces ■ Compatible with concert halls and cinema complexes ■ Balances vibration isolation and seismic performance in suspended ceilings ■ Can be adapted for specific ceilings *Currently, it is limited to flat ceilings. Future plans include compatibility with sloped ceilings.

basic information
Our vibration-damping seismic ceiling substrate OS Sealing HG type 'OTO-LESS' is a product that achieves high seismic performance in the ceiling substrate by installing special hardware at the junction of the seismic reinforcement brace and the vibration-damping ceiling substrate, preventing the propagation of sound. (This product is a joint development with Takenaka Corporation.) 【Background of the Development of the 'OS Sealing' Series】 In light of the reported ceiling collapse damage from past earthquakes, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has issued technical advice on matters such as "installation of braces" and "ensuring clearance." Based on these, measures against ceiling collapse in large spaces have been advanced. However, during the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, and its aftershocks, ceilings in numerous buildings such as gymnasiums and large halls collapsed, resulting in unprecedented levels of significant human and material damage. OS Sealing is a series of ceiling substrate components developed based on the "Notification No. 771 of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (2013)" which establishes safe structural methods for specific ceilings and their structural safety, taking these damages into account.

Okju's work involves creating spaces through the construction of ceilings, walls, and more. As a pioneer in lightweight steel framing, Okju has been involved in the production and construction of both interior and exterior finishes for numerous buildings across the country, regardless of their fame or obscurity, including the National Diet Building, government offices, historical buildings, airports, stations, hotels, banks, department stores, hospitals, corporate buildings, gymnasiums, halls, and large complex buildings. The underlying common philosophy is the creation of "comfortable living spaces" that prioritize safety and the environment, with a desire to create spaces where people, the environment, and nature harmoniously coexist, and to contribute to society through the development of safe communities. Supporting this is the solid technology and development capabilities backed by a history and tradition since its founding in 1922 (Taisho 11), which has garnered significant trust from various sectors of the architectural community, including major general contractors and design offices. Okju aims to be a dignified comprehensive interior and exterior company that provides quality, safety, and peace of mind, continuing to uphold the corporate motto of "Trust First" as a "pioneer in creating dream spaces," while maintaining a strong spirit of challenge and ongoing technological development.
