The SM642 achieves high quantum efficiency in UV and high dynamic range. The detector of the SM642 provides high resolution with 2048 pixels. UV/visible/near-infrared spectroscopy is ideal with a high signal-to-noise ratio and high dynamic range. The back-illuminated CCD excels in UV sensitivity below 200nm. It can measure from 200nm to 1050nm with minimal stray light (resolution and sensitivity increase in narrow wavelength ranges). The standard interface of the SM642 is USB 1.1/2.0 compliant 16-bit.
