basic information
The SM240/440 can be input directly into the built-in slit or via optical fiber. The aluminum housing of the SM20/440 operates stably over a wide temperature range on an optical bench. The standard sensor for the SM240 is the Sony ILX 511, and for the SM440, it is the Toshiba TCD 1340. The array driver circuit is designed to operate with high sensitivity and stability. The standard interface for the SM240/SM440 is USB 2.0 and OCI card, with a 16-bit dynamic range. The USB board supports multi-channel configurations of up to 8 channels. Multi-channel configurations allow for a wide range of high-resolution or dual spectrometer setups (for measurement and reference). Spectral Products will apply a new UV-enhanced coating to the CCD to increase UV sensitivity below 450nm, improving signal sensitivity below 500nm by approximately 20% to 50%. The software for application development is the SM32Pro, a Windows-based spectral acquisition and analysis software.
