Maximum and minimum hardness values, average values, and standard deviation histograms can be displayed and printed with simple operations. ● The stroke of the testing head is available in 100mm and 300mm types (custom orders possible). ● An optical reading device can be attached to confirm the indentation on the display (optional). ● Hydraulic control enables a measurement time of approximately 7 seconds per cycle. ● The use of high-precision load cells allows for high-level load control.

Principle The amount of penetration of the indenter is measured when applying the initial test force and the total test force, and the diameter of the indentation is derived. The Brinell hardness is calculated from the diameter of the indentation. The BRE-AUT performs one cycle in as little as 7 seconds.
