It is used for measuring wet film thickness. Compared to the comb type, it allows for more precise film thickness management. However, this means that a larger area will be destroyed. The accuracy is ±5μm. Place the main body on the wet paint film and slowly rotate the wheel part by hand to check the areas with and without paint. Immediately after applying the paint, place the two outer rings in the coating so that they contact the substrate at the maximum gap (the maximum reading of the calibrated scale). Rotate the main body approximately 360° along the surface and then remove it. Read the maximum film thickness at the position where the wet coating and the central ring are in contact (where paint is attached to the central ring).
