A displacement measurement system using image processing with video from a digital camera equipped with various analytical functions.
"OpticG 2D" is a system that performs non-contact, two-dimensional dynamic displacement measurement and allows for analysis using various tools. 1. Place a digital camera at a distance aimed at the area to be measured. 2. Measure the distance from the camera to the target using a distance meter. 3. Record a video with the digital camera. 4. Process the video with image processing software on a computer. This will yield displacement data. Displacement can be obtained not only in the vertical direction but also in the horizontal direction. This system consists of shooting equipment (telephoto lens, calibrated digital camera, laser distance meter, etc.) and a computer with the analysis software installed. While it is possible to use your own camera, prior calibration is necessary for accurate measurements. In this case, please use our calibration service. The analysis software includes various functions to assist with analysis, such as filtering, arithmetic operations between graphs, statistical processing, and simple dimension measurement. If two cameras are used to capture images from different directions, three-dimensional displacement measurement is also possible.
