Tokai Felt Co., Ltd., established in 1946 in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, set up its factory in Hamamatsu and its sales office in Ginza, Tokyo, where it manufactured and sold cow hair felt and coarse hair felt. In 1953, aiming for further leaps in development, the Tokyo sales office was separated and established as Tsukasa Felt Trading Co., Ltd. Tsukasa Felt Trading Co., Ltd. has operated as the general agent for the aforementioned factory and as a special dealer for Nippon Woolen Co., Ltd., Nippon Felt Industry Co., Ltd. (now Ambic Co., Ltd.), Fujiko Co., Ltd., and Fuji Felt Co., Ltd., handling all types of felt as a "department store of felt." Furthermore, we also provide various chemical products such as glass wool, urethane foam, and polyethylene foam, which are used as industrial components similar to felt. Additionally, we have received positive feedback from related users for medical tubes and precision-shaped tubes produced by special extrusion machines. The pen core business, which started with the production of pen cores for felt pens, has expanded to include the manufacturing of chemical fiber binding cores (synthetic cores), extruded plastic cores, and metal ball tips, which are used in various writing instruments such as marking pens and ballpoint pens, receiving recognition both domestically and internationally.
