It is available in diameters ranging from 5mm to 50mm, with smaller diameter lenses being ideal for medical devices and portable equipment, while larger diameter lenses are perfect for implementation in benchtop analytical instruments. The aspheric side of the first surface is molded to eliminate spherical aberration, while the opposing second surface is ground and polished to enhance optical performance.
