The TECHSPEC 45° rod mirror is a compact mirror that has one end face of the rod lens cut and polished at a 45° angle, with a metal film deposited on that surface. Similar to an elliptical plane mirror, the surface of the metal film has an elliptical shape, resulting in a circular front opening. Despite its small size, it effectively bends the light path by 90°, making it ideal as a mirror for endoscopes and small optical systems.
