basic information
Interference filters, also known as "bandpass filters," have the function of selectively extracting specific narrowband wavelengths from polychromatic light while blocking the transmission of other wavelengths. Interference filters are widely used in the field of quantitative chemical analysis and are employed in applications such as clinical analysis instruments, water quality testing, quality control, and colorimeters. They are also used to extract specific wavelengths from arc lamps and gas discharge tubes (such as mercury, xenon, and cadmium), as well as from multi-line emitting Ar lasers. This product is a filter kit composed of interference filters for UV (ultraviolet), VIS (visible), or NIR (near-infrared) applications. Each filter has an optical density of 3.0 or higher in the blocking region. The filters are available in two sizes: 12.5mm diameter and 25.0mm diameter. It comes with a dedicated wooden storage box with a urethane type. *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
