basic information
This is a high-quality ND filter with neutral transmission characteristics for the 700~1100nm range. It uses synthetic quartz glass with an extremely low thermal expansion coefficient as the substrate, enhancing the parallelism and surface accuracy of the substrate. As a result, it can be used not only for near-infrared LEDs and multi-color light sources that primarily emit in the same wavelength range but also for near-infrared lasers, including YAG lasers that emit at 1064nm, for light attenuation applications (when used for laser light source attenuation, please limit it to low-output sources only). It is also effective for spectral analysis, machine vision, and chemical analysis applications in the near-infrared wavelength range. Please ensure that the coated side of the filter faces the light source and that it is used with vertical incidence. We also offer a preset filter wheel with six types of filters with optical densities of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 pre-fixed in the filter wheel. *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
