The precision zero-order polymer wave plate (phase plate) is created by sandwiching a carefully aligned polymer film between two precision N-BK7 glass substrates, which are laminated together. We offer standard λ/4 and λ/2 plates for common visible and near-infrared wavelengths. The polymer film is manufactured to the same thickness as that of a true zero-order phase plate, resulting in exceptional stability of the phase difference for oblique incidence. Even with an incident angle deviation of ±10°, the phase shift remains below 1%. Each precision zero-order polymer wave plate (phase plate) is fixed within a gold frame marked to indicate the fast axis.
