Made of UV-grade synthetic quartz. Usable at high temperatures. All products are sold individually as standard items. We offer short delivery times due to complete stock availability.
Prisms made from UV-grade synthetic fused silica have particularly excellent transmission properties in the ultraviolet wavelength range. Additionally, due to their low thermal expansion coefficient, they are ideal for use at high temperatures. The TECHSPEC λ/10 high-precision right-angle prisms made of synthetic quartz are available in two types: one with an aluminum metal coating on the prism's sloped surface (reflective surface) and one without. The aluminum coating is protected by an Inconel layer and a black coating. Furthermore, prisms with this coating feature specific anti-reflective coatings (UV-VIS multi) on both the incident and exit surfaces. This effectively improves transmission rates at the incident and exit surfaces and reduces ghost image formation. *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan, which features this product, from the link below.
