basic information
An image conduit (image guiding pipe) is a rigid rod-shaped image fiber bundle that transmits images. When the end face of the image conduit is brought into contact with an object, the image is projected onto the opposite end face of the conduit. It is also possible to bend the image conduit without light transmission loss by heating it over a burner or in a glass oven while applying pressure (it does not bend at room temperature).
