Jet processing that allows cleaning and removal of coating films without damaging the substrate.
SIRIUS-O is a cleaning device equipped with jet processing technology. Jet processing is a technique that involves spraying a medium, which is an elastic body, to attack the workpiece while sliding, preventing issues such as surface dullness and matte finish. It does not damage the workpiece and can only remove the coating film, making it suitable for cleaning precision parts.

basic information
◎ Sirius has demonstrated a change in substrate thickness of less than 1μm after jet treatment (at WA#100: thickness 0.53mm → 0.55mm (20μm change) ⇒ due to distortion and workpiece deformation) ◎ There is almost no change in surface accuracy compared to before jet treatment (at WA#100: surface accuracy Ra = 0.08 → drops to 1.8)

Our company started in 1988 as an overseas export trading company for vacuum thin film manufacturing equipment, and has expanded its operations as a "total planner of vacuum technology" up to the present day. During this time, we have focused on the development of optical thin film materials, as well as the sales of ion beam processes and refrigeration units (Sapcold). Additionally, we have developed and are set to launch the GCIB (Gas Cluster Ion Beam) process equipment, which is expected to be an important technology in the next generation of nano-processing. Starting with glasses and camera lenses, we now see new media continuously emerging in the optical-related industry, including digital cameras, mobile phones, and medical lenses.
