Manufacturing know-how backed by a long history! We address customer problems and needs.
We would like to introduce the technology of Nippon Kongō Tōseki Seisakusho Co., Ltd. Grinding wheels can be broadly divided into three categories: grinding wheels for cutting, grinding wheels for polishing, and grinding wheels for slicing. Depending on the customer's intended use, we select and adjust the manufacturing method, type of abrasive grains, shape of the grinding wheel, and hardness (bonding strength) of the grinding wheel. We will introduce the technology behind the basic manufacturing methods. 【Types of Manufacturing Methods】 ○ Vitrified Bond Method ○ Resin Bond Method ○ PVA Method For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

basic information
【Manufacturing Technology】 [Vitried Method] ○ Add inorganic materials to the binder, mix with an appropriate amount of additives, mold, and fire at a high temperature of 1,300°C for production. ○ Features many pores, making it less likely to experience grinding burn, suitable for use from rough grinding to precision grinding. ○ Variants with larger pores expand applications to alleviate clogging during grinding. [Resinoid Method] ○ Add phenolic synthetic resin and other materials to the binder, and fire at around 200°C. ○ Capable of producing ultra-fine powders and difficult-to-combine mixed abrasive grains without deformation. ○ Produces grinding wheels with excellent grinding properties (sharpness and finish). ○ Rich in elasticity and toughness, with high safety, suitable for high-speed use, and has a wide range of applications. [PVA Method] ○ Uses PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) as the binder. ○ Forms elastic, porous grinding wheels. ○ Meets the needs of customers requiring precise finishing processes. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
