The DEX series is an explosion-proof self-regulating heater that can be used in hazardous locations, specifically in Class 1 and Class 2 hazardous areas. It features a self-temperature control function that automatically adjusts the heater's heat output according to the surrounding environmental temperature, eliminating concerns about overheating. Resistors are arranged in parallel between two parallel conductors, preventing any disconnection accidents with the heater. The self-regulating heater and terminal foil are designed with an explosion-proof structure that does not become an ignition source.
