Crystal piezoelectric strain sensor (with built-in charge amplifier) 9238B
9238B
Installed on the movable or non-movable parts of the processing machine, it is ideal for dynamic and quasi-static force measurements!
This charge amplifier built-in strain sensor is robust and ideal for installation on the movable or non-movable parts of processing machines, suitable for measuring dynamic and quasi-static forces. To measure force, the sensor is installed on the surface of the processing machine or its components, measuring the strain proportional to the force applied at that location. -* Features *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- • Parameter settings can be easily configured using the included PC software, ManuWare. • Two independent measurement ranges (±20 με to ±800 με) can be set, and switching is possible even during measurement. • Full-scale voltage output (±1 to 10 V), offset voltage (±9 V), and signal polarity can be configured. • The voltage output of the built-in charge amplifier is low-resistance output. • Easy installation and optimal protection rating of IP67 for industrial use.

basic information
The strain in the measurement section is transmitted through two contact points provided on the bottom surface of the sensor. The sensor case itself undergoes elastic deformation, transmitting the strain to the quartz piezoelectric element. The quartz piezoelectric element generates a charge Q [pC] proportional to the amount of strain. The built-in charge amplifier converts the charge into voltage. Compared to strain gauge types, the quartz piezoelectric type has higher sensitivity and is more resistant to overload. It also has a long lifespan and excellent repeatability stability for measurements. The measured signal can be used as a relative value. If used as an absolute value (N, kN), the sensor needs to be calibrated with a known load. Wiring for the power supply, control signals, range switching, and communication interface is provided within the cable that transmits the measurement signal. The settings for the charge amplifier can be configured using the included PC software, ManuWare, via the built-in RS232C interface. For testing purposes, measurement data can be displayed on a PC using ManuWare (transfer speed <20 Hz). With a robust structure suitable for industrial applications, it achieves IP67, allowing it to be used in environments with high dust and humidity.
