This is a water-soluble copper discoloration preventer that forms a complex of copper and organic substances on the copper surface, preventing oxidation and long-term discoloration. It has the characteristic that a coating treatment can be obtained simply by immersion. ■ BT-8 forms a heat-resistant copper discoloration protective film (oxidation prevention film). ■ The heat resistance time varies with temperature (e.g., 180°C for 20 minutes). ■ The surface treated with this agent does not experience a decrease in electrical resistance. ■ BT-8 has high hydrophilicity, resulting in good adhesion with water-based paints and reducing the defect occurrence rate. 【Specifications】 ■ Appearance: Colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid ■ Specific gravity: 1.0 ■ pH: Neutral

■It is a neutral water-soluble agent. ■Simply immersing the product diluted with water at a ratio of 10 to 20 times will prevent oxidation for a long time and maintain a beautiful surface. ■Immersion temperature: Room temperature to 60°C (recommended 50 to 60°C) ■Immersion time: 30 seconds to 2 minutes (varies depending on immersion temperature). ■For copper products that have already discolored due to cutting oil or heat from machining, using a copper oxide film remover like CU-600 in conjunction will be even more effective. ■Please also use it to prevent discoloration after plating or barrel polishing. It is effective even if added simultaneously during barrel polishing. 【Usage Method】 Copper material → Degreasing → Rinsing → CU-600 → Rinsing → BT-8 → Rinsing → Drying Point 1… If the copper surface is not kept clean, unevenness will occur, leading to early discoloration due to an uneven rust prevention film.
