A state-of-the-art water quality meter that can display over 15 water quality parameters on a smartphone and allows for long-term logging on an internal microSD.
The Aqua TROLL 600 is a unique multiparameter water quality meter that combines both handheld (used with Android devices for display) and self-recording (long-term logging via an internal microSD card) functionalities. It features a robust housing that can be installed in freshwater or seawater environments without restrictions, high-precision water quality sensors including a fluorescent dissolved oxygen sensor compliant with the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and a unique sensor design that pursues anti-fouling structures, achieving up to 9 months of maintenance-free operation. The measurement settings and data retrieval software VuSitu (for Android devices only) offers an intuitive interface that allows anyone to easily set up, measure, and generate reports without special training. Additionally, it allows for the registration of GPS coordinates and photos of the installation site, facilitating clear data management. The collected log data can be converted to CSV format and sent via email from a remote location (requires a network environment), eliminating the need to bring a PC to the field. Furthermore, the flat sensor surface is designed so that a wiper can completely clean it, minimizing drift caused by dirt accumulation and enabling long-term maintenance-free operation.

The company founded by British trader Albert Richard Brown (A.R. Brown) in Yokohama is its origin. A.R. Brown brought the training ship "Meiji Maru," which is currently displayed at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, from Britain during the Meiji era and participated in the establishment of the predecessor of the university, the Merchant Marine University, helping to build the Japanese Navy. He also worked hard to promote lighthouses in Japan and served as the first manager of Nippon Yusen. A.R. Brown was also the first to sell a television to the Emperor. After going through history, it has now become a purely domestic company, but it has developed into a scientific and technological trading company that carries on A.R. Brown's spirit, selling new and unique quality products through its specialized salespeople. With the management philosophy of "introducing cutting-edge technology products with an adventurous spirit and creating value," the company not only sells but also listens to customer needs, striving to provide truly useful products for customers. The sales bases are located in Tokyo (head office and Ginza), Osaka, and Nagoya. Domestic affiliated company: Brown Technologies Co., Ltd.
