Introducing the monitoring technology of sensors that will carry the future of strain measurement.
Fiber optic strain sensors are compact, high-precision devices capable of measuring strain in high-temperature environments. They are designed to be unaffected by EMI/RFI and can operate in highly corrosive environments, utilizing the latest technology. The measurement of strain using fiber optic sensors is particularly suitable for reinforcement systems in composite materials and concrete structures. The fiber optic strain gauge has a diameter of 0.3 mm and behaves similarly to the FRP (fiber-reinforced polymer) used for reinforcement. Since the main material is the same as FOS-B, it can be easily installed between composite sheets. Tests were conducted at a research facility by bonding FOS-B to a concrete cylinder, which demonstrated that monitoring strain in concrete is possible using this sensor. 【Features】 - Capable of measuring the strain state applied to concrete - Supplied for reinforcement projects on elevated highways in Singapore, among others *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
