Compression molding and disassembly mold (split mold) [*Presentation of examples of molded products*]
Since the extraction of assembled and molded products is done manually, it significantly reduces mold costs and allows for integrated molding of resin and metal parts!
At Five One, we respond to needs such as wanting to mold small quantities of 1 to 100 pieces, wanting to prototype, and wanting to mold with long-used molds that have their own quirks. The molds we handle from our customers are all ones that have been used for many years and have their own unique characteristics. We are confident that we are unmatched by other companies when it comes to handling such quirky molds. Here, we introduce the advantages of compression molding and the "broke mold" (split mold) that Five One specializes in. 【Advantages of Compression Molding】 - Low mold production costs → Reduction in initial costs - Materials that cannot be molded with injection molding machines can be molded → Increased strength - Less waste of molding materials 【Advantages of Broke Molds】 - Structure for product removal can be omitted → Reduction in mold costs - Integral molding of resin and metal parts is possible → High mechanical strength and enhanced functionality - It is relatively easy to make it a combined mold → Reduction in mold costs *For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

basic information
**Strengths of Five One** - **Technology and Know-how** With the compression molding technology and know-how of thermosetting resins cultivated over many years since our establishment in 1973, we can quickly respond to new projects from mold design and the transfer of old molds. - **Specialization in Small-Scale Production** We excel in compression molding using complex "disassembly molds," which require manual work, and have established a production system specialized in small-batch, diverse production. (We accommodate small lots starting from one piece.) - **Young Talent and Technology Succession** The skills and craftsmanship of experienced artisans are being passed down to the next generation of successors and young craftsmen, allowing for long-term relationships.

Applications/Examples of results
We have been engaged in the molding and processing of thermosetting resins and reinforced plastic parts in various fields, including tool holders for machining centers with a monthly production of 12,000 units, industrial equipment parts, and electrical and electronic components. In particular, we excel in direct pressure molding of thick-walled and tubular parts, as well as parts with relatively complex structures. The main molding materials include phenolic resin, epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester, diallyl phthalate resin, and reinforced plastics with various substrates (glass, cotton, paper).

Five One leverages its "three strengths": 1. Long-accumulated technology and know-how 2. Production system specialized for small-lot production 3. Successors and young craftsmen in their 20s and 30s playing a central role to engage in the small-lot, diverse production of electrical insulation parts such as electrical components, industrial machinery parts, and railway vehicle parts. Since the founding of our predecessor, Lake Light Industries, in 1973, we have been molding various products using thermosetting resins such as phenolic resin, epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin, and diallyl phthalate resin. Our specialty lies in compression molding using complex structures known as "disassembly molds." When molding with complex disassembly molds, it takes time for mold opening and assembly, making it difficult to maintain consistent temperature control of the molds and quality of the molded products, which requires the skills of experienced craftsmen. Recently, the aging of molding craftsmen has progressed, and there are fewer craftsmen capable of handling complex molds. Our company is committed to training successors and young craftsmen, nurturing them until they become key players capable of handling such complex molds, allowing for long-term partnerships.
