A metal that is highly corrosion-resistant and durable. It has a proven track record in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and dental medical instruments. The wear rate is about 1/5 compared to SUS304 and piano wire!
SPRON510 is a Co-Ni alloy with excellent properties of high elasticity, corrosion resistance, durability, and heat resistance. It is strong against highly corrosive gases such as HBr and HF, and has already been adopted in medical instruments where high reliability is required. It is characterized by very little "set" due to repeated loads. The set rate after one million cycles of testing is 1/5 to 1/6 compared to SUS304 and piano wire. It can be used in harsh corrosive environments where common metal materials are difficult to use. Additionally, it is non-magnetic, making it recommended for analytical instruments. ■ Features of SPRON510 ◎ Excellent properties of high elasticity, durability, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance ◎ Very small "set" due to repeated loads ◎ Non-magnetic ■ Examples of SPRON applications ◎ Various precision springs ◎ Various springs for instruments ◎ Cable guides for robotic equipment ◎ Precision parts for medical use ◎ Various wires for medical instruments *For more details, please request materials or view the PDF data from the download.

Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII) was established in 1937 as a watch manufacturing company within the Seiko Group. Starting from the production of wristwatches that require high precision and meticulousness, SII has developed a wide range of businesses, including machine tools boasting sub-micron processing accuracy, precision parts manufacturing, electronic components such as quartz oscillators and micro batteries developed during the process of quartz watch development, thermal printers that are compact, lightweight, and excel in quiet operation, and inkjet print heads, which are core components of large commercial inkjet printers. Moving forward, SII aims to continue its manufacturing that responds to societal needs with the "artisan, small, and efficient" technologies that have been passed down since its founding.
