Applications/Examples of results
Regulations on physical testing methods for polyurethane elastomers. One of the test items is hardness testing, and in the rubber industry, type A durometers are generally referred to as Shore A, type D as Shore D, and type C for lower hardness ranges as Asker C. The MD15S-C701NT series is the same product as this Asker C. It also complies with the hardness testing of JIS S 6050 "Plastic Erasers." Furthermore, the SRIS 0101 (formerly the Japan Rubber Association standard) that these standards were based on has already been abolished, but the type names remain.
