It is a small area pinpoint gloss meter that can measure the glossiness of small products and curved surfaces.
The area required for measurement is only 2mm × 2mm. There is a measurement hole (4mmΦ) on the stage at the top of the main unit, where the object to be measured is placed. If the measurement hole is properly sealed, glossiness can be measured. The included foot pedal allows for measurement while holding unstable objects with both hands and pressing the pedal with the foot. Additionally, an infrared sensor is included, enabling measurement simply by waving a hand over the sensor. The operation is intuitive thanks to the LCD touch panel display. Place the main unit on a flat and level surface and turn on the power. If necessary, place the included calibration standard tile on the measurement stage at the top of the main unit and perform automatic calibration. Place the object to be measured on the measurement stage and ensure that the measurement hole is properly sealed. Press the measurement button on the main unit to measure the gloss level. If the measurement hole is not sealed, an error message will be displayed on the LCD screen. If the shape is unstable, attach the included foot pedal and hold the object with both hands while using the foot pedal to perform the measurement. Additionally, use the infrared sensor as needed based on the situation.
