We will check whether there are any unevenness on the coated surface by using a leveling tester instead of a brush and comparing it with a sample product (paint sample).
The leveling tester is used to compare the painted surface for any irregularities caused by the brush when the paint is applied with a brush, using the leveling tester instead of the brush to compare it with a sample product (paint sample). When the test piece is compared to the sample product under diffused daylight, if the peaks and valleys of the surface created by the leveling tester are equal to or smaller than those of the sample product, the leveling of the sample is considered "good."

basic information
Place the test piece horizontally with the long side vertical and the short side horizontal, and secure it so that it does not move. Place the leveling tester on the test piece and spread the sample on the test plate right in front of it. Pinch both ends of the leveling tester with the tips of both hands and pull it towards you at an even speed while pressing the leveling tester against the test piece. Paint the paint sample in the same manner. Evaluate the painted surface after allowing it to dry for the time specified in the product standards of the paint, with the painted surface facing upwards and horizontal.
