The M2536T-FD series, based on the manufacturer's patented technology, features an extremely robust design without moving parts, promising maintenance-free operation for several years with 99.9% data acquisition even in harsh environments. ● Improved accuracy through the latest design technology Adopting innovative design technology has led to better control of airflow and improved accuracy. Through software enhancements and a state-of-the-art calibration wind tunnel, the M2536T-FD series achieves a high level of accuracy in wind direction and speed measurement. ● Can be directly mounted on a Φ33.7mm pipe. ● Maintenance-free The aluminum alloy body provides high durability against corrosion, dust, ice, sunlight, and bird attacks. The dust and water resistance standards adapt to changes in air temperature, pressure, and humidity. ● Compact and lightweight portable design The M2536T-FD series is very compact, with a height of 162mm and a weight of 380g, making it convenient to carry. ● This sensor has RS485 or a 4-20mA current output, and the output data can be provided in m/s, km/h, or knots.

■Technology With manufacturer patented technology, accurate measurements are possible even in small spaces. To provide a more robust and reliable measurement solution, the sensor is constructed using technology that is entirely different from mechanical and other ultrasonic wind sensing technologies. The sensor operates by generating resonant ultrasonic signals within the measurement cavity of the sensor. Air movement is detected by measuring the phase changes of the ultrasonic signals caused by the wind passing through the cavity. The sensor has three transducers arranged in a triangular configuration. The net phase difference between the pairs of transmitting and receiving transducers indicates the airflow along a pair of axes. Therefore, the components of airflow are determined by measuring the three pairs along the edges of the triangle. These vectors are combined to provide the overall speed and direction. The sensor employs complex signal processing and data analysis to obtain a sequence of multiple measurements to calculate the normal wind measurements.

The sensor maintains the user-specified heater setting within a temperature range of 0°C to 55°C. ●Low Power Consumption Under standard use, the heater consumes a maximum power of 99W. When the heater switch is off, it operates at 30mA with 24VDC. It also operates at 12VDC, making it ideal for battery use. ●Used for meteorological observation purposes worldwide, including polar regions.
