Gas soft nitriding treatment is a heat treatment process that maintains a temperature range of 550 to 600°C in a mixed atmosphere of carburizing gas and NH3 (ammonia), allowing nitrogen and carbon to diffuse into the surface to form carbonitrides and achieve surface hardening. The Unizoff method generates this mixed atmosphere through the thermal decomposition gas of urea, creating a consistently stable environment. Compared to salt bath heat treatment, it does not use cyanide salts, making it an environmentally friendly heat treatment method that contributes to pollution prevention. Various set methods can be chosen according to the product, such as direct placement on fixtures, hanging, or alignment.
