Our company, which has tackled odor control measures for various factories, will introduce case studies from overseas. 【Odor Control Measures for Automotive Parts Manufacturing Factory (Aluminum Casting)】 ■Background We received a consultation from an automotive parts manufacturing factory in Thailand that was experiencing odor complaints from surrounding factories and wanted to implement countermeasures. Upon checking the current situation, we found that the main odors were phenol, burnt smell, and ammonia odor generated during aluminum casting. Although measures such as raising the height of existing exhaust outlets had been implemented, complaints were still ongoing.
