Investigation of concrete interiors using X-rays and radar!
At Sagami Riko Co., Ltd., we conduct "Concrete Internal Investigations" that allow for the confirmation of rebar conditions within concrete and the detection of embedded objects to prevent accidents. Using X-rays, we take transmission photographs to confirm the positions and diameters of rebar, as well as the presence and locations of electrical conduits and cables through the "X-ray Exploration Method." Additionally, we can conduct investigations using the "Radar Exploration Method," which involves radiating electromagnetic waves into the concrete from an antenna capable of sending and receiving signals, and receiving reflected waves from objects with different electrical properties than concrete. The results are displayed as cross-sectional images, allowing us to verify the positions and depths of the objects. Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries.
