1.6MHz, 1A constant current, step-down regulator 'LM3405' for LED power supply
The LM3405 is a 1A constant current buck LED driver designed to provide a simple and highly efficient solution for driving high-power LEDs. It features a 0.205V reference voltage feedback control to minimize power consumption, allowing the current to be set with a single external resistor for driving various types of LEDs. The switching frequency is internally set to 1.6MHz, enabling the use of small surface-mount inductors and capacitors. With current mode control and internal compensation, it is user-friendly and achieves predictable, high-performance regulation across a wide range of operating conditions. This device has a maximum input voltage of 15V and can drive up to three high-brightness LEDs in series with a forward current of 1A, with the forward voltage of a single LED being approximately 3.7V. **Features** - VIN operating range: 3V to 15V - Drives up to five high-brightness LEDs in series at 1A - Thin SOT-6 package - Switching frequency: 1.6MHz - LED enable and PWM dimming via EN/DIM input - 300mΩ NMOS switch *For more details, please contact us.*
