1. Release properties and wear resistance Due to the excellent non-stick properties, low friction coefficient, self-lubrication of fluoropolymer, and the low friction coefficient of hard chrome plating, it exhibits superior release properties and wear resistance compared to standard chrome plating and other fluoropolymer composite coatings. 2. Hardness Since the base is chrome plating, it has a hardness of about Hv850. 3. Heat resistance It is below the melting point of fluoropolymer (327°C). Continuous use is recommended around 250°C. 4. Safety It complies with the standards for utensils and container packaging based on the Food Sanitation Act (Ministry of Health and Welfare Notification No. 370). Therefore, it can be used in applications where food comes into direct contact with the Tef-Lock surface. 5. Processing characteristics Since the treatment temperature is about 200°C, there is almost no thermal impact on the material. The surface roughness can be freely set (for mirror finish, Max 1.0S). Dimensional accuracy can be ensured, and reprocessing or partial processing is possible. By applying nickel plating as a base, corrosion resistance can be improved. It is also possible to peel and reprocess just like standard chrome plating.
