basic information
The Fine Power Wedge Method (hereinafter referred to as the Wedge Method) involves attaching a wedge (a metal wedge) with a taper (angle) consisting of a total of three pieces—one in the center and two on the sides—to the end of a backhoe arm (0.45m³ or 0.7m³). This wedge is inserted into the rock splitting hole of the target object, and by utilizing the hydraulic pressure of the backhoe to push the wedge apart sideways, it crushes the target object from the inside. Additionally, by using a dedicated controller, the entire process from wedge insertion to fragmentation can be performed by one person from inside the backhoe cabin.
