EMI-resistant 12-bit capacitance/digital converter 'FDC2214'
The FDC2214 is suitable for proximity/level sensing applications. Capacitive sensing is a low-power, low-cost, high-resolution non-contact sensing technology that can be used in a wide range of applications, from proximity detection to gesture recognition and remote liquid level sensing. Since any metal or conductor can be used as a sensor in capacitive sensing systems, it allows for low-cost and highly flexible system design. The main limitation on the sensitivity of capacitive sensing applications is primarily the noise sensitivity of the sensor. The FDC2214 maintains high performance even in noisy environments due to its innovative EMI-resistant architecture. It is suitable for capacitive sensing solutions with a high-speed, high-resolution capacitance/digital converter that is resistant to noise and EMI. It employs an innovative narrowband base architecture that provides high noise and interference rejection performance, achieving high speed and high resolution. Additionally, it has a wide excitation frequency range, enabling flexible system design. *For more details, please contact us.*
