The "Suppon MPX MP-V" joint is useful when switching from high-density polyethylene pipes (ISO outer diameter) to steel pipes. On the high-density polyethylene side, there is no need for an in-core, disassembly, or electric fusion work, allowing for smooth construction operations. Since there is no cooling time, water can be passed through immediately, significantly reducing construction time. Additionally, on the steel pipe side, mechanical joining eliminates the need for threading or flange welding. Construction can begin immediately after cutting the steel pipe. Since the pipe type transition is not a flange connection, the risk of water leakage from the flange area is reduced, and it also excels in safety aspects such as earthquake resistance. It is also possible to slide along the pipe, making it easy to connect existing and newly installed pipes. This can be utilized for repairs or renovations of aging piping systems at the connection points with existing pipes. If disassembly is needed, it can be easily removed by simply loosening the installed bolts and nuts.
