Measuring the camera's characteristic curve is one of the important tests. The function obtained as a result is called the Optical-Electrical Conversion Function (OECF). OECF measurements can be conducted based on ISO standards 14524 and 15739, using one of the well-known charts: "TE264," "TE269," or "TE270." These standard charts use a halftone process to create gray levels on lithographic film. For waveform monitors, "TE223" with a horizontal grayscale is recommended.
