The Kawasaki Heavy Industries dual-arm SCARA robot duAro is an innovative new type of robot that coexists and collaborates with operators, is easy to install and operate, and is user-friendly. The Kyoni Robot Promotion Office, a robot introduction support partner, will provide proposals and support for implementation. ■ Features of duAro 1: Coexisting Work with Humans By adopting low-power motors and incorporating speed reduction functions through area monitoring, it enables coexistence work with humans. Additionally, in the event of a collision between a person and the robot, the collision detection function can instantly stop the robot. *Please conduct a risk assessment and ensure sufficient risk reduction before use. 2: Space-Saving The two arms are arranged on the same axis and controlled by a single controller, allowing installation in the space of one person. The coaxial dual-arm structure enables coordinated movements using two arms, which cannot be achieved with two separate SCARA robots. 3: Easy Installation The controller is also housed within the cart where the arms are installed. This allows for easy installation by moving the entire cart. 4: Simple Teaching Direct teaching with the arm allows for easy instruction of movements.
